Sound Recorder Professional Software Review

Being digital entrepreneur, I used to hear hundreds of people round the clock. My customer comes from different demographics; in fact all world locations wherever internet can reach. Listening to overseas clients over Skype and then briefing to my coworkers takes huge time effort. Now-a-days, I used to record all Skype calls and handover the recordings to team manager. Sound Recorder Professional works best for me when listening to overseas customers. The recording gives ease of listening to a customer's call again and again even without actually calling him. Also, this solves accent issues; when you have recorded voice of someone you can listen it any number of time or can hand over to an interpreter to do the job.

I downloaded and installed Sound Recorder Professional Software on my office computer with Windows 8 running in it. Tested it first for Skype Call Recording between office coworkers and then for overseas clients. Couple of my Office PCs also runs Vista and Windows 7. I tested it between a PC Running Windows Vista and other Windows 8 and similar other permutations and combinations. Each time I found voice quality extremely good for my Skype.

I love to code and music; often play Lastfm and Pandora while tweaking my blog or writing a post. The Sound Recorder Professional is my best choice when recording songs from Online Radio channels. The advanced audio features like encoder bit rate, sample rate, codec, and audio channel allow me to adjust song settings while streaming from any frequency radio. The only disappointment for me is recording support for Mac. The Sound Recorder Professional does not offer Mac support. While on the go I use my Macbook Air a lot.

Recording Voice with this software does not require any special training or expertise. User interface is very easy to use as shown in the image above. Start the app and it will take you to the recording mode. It has auto pause, the sound recorder stops itself when did not receive voice and turns on as soon voice starts.



This software can record voice in different modes; Normal, from Microphone, Music from Media Player and from Line In i.e. Cassette and portable player etc. I tested this for my old MSN Messenger friends. Voice Quality is equally good for MSN as it is for Skype Messenger. It also supports for multi channel recording. You can record sound from many input devices and different file formats e.g. MP3, WMA, WAV, FLAC, APE, TTA, WV, MPC, SPX, and OGG Vorbis. I tested it for all those file type but not noticed any significant voice quality loss.

The downloading and installing Sound Recorder Professional is same like any other software program i.e. an antivirus or messenger. Only restrictions are, you need to have at least 512 MB of RAM which most windows user have these if running Windows 7 or 8. It does not take too much power from your processor. Whether you have Intel or AMD processor with 1.86 GHz is sufficient.
