Lenovo A6000 Launched in India with 4G Connectivity and HD Display
Lenovo A6000 has been launched in India in association with Flipkart.com. The device includes a big 5 inch screen with HD resolution and sports 8 MP rear and 2 MP front cameras. Lenovo A6000 will be available for purchase as a flash sale on January 28, 2015, 2 PM.
Lenovo A6000 has been launched in India with a big 5 inch HD IPS display which produces vivid colours and sharp text. It includes a powerful 1.2 GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8916 Processor with Adreno 306 graphic processor.
Lenovo A6000 includes a powerful 8 MP rear and 2 MP front cameras. The high resolution front camera produces great selfies. The device also includes dolby digital twin speakers on the backside.
We would prefer to see the placement of speakers either on the top or on the sides. Normally, back side speakers produce produces decreased sound when kept on the desk. However, we can ascertain this fact only after testing the phone.
In India, 4G is still in its infancy. However, you can continue to use the phone with 2G or 3G connectivity and switch over to 4G as and when it is available.
A big drawback of Lenovo A6000 is that it ships with a dual Micro SIM card slots. Hence, users with Mini SIM will not be able to use the phone.
We would like to see one Mini SIM and one Micro SIM slots like we saw in PhoneMax Glam 5. We are against cutting SIM cards. Hence, if you have Mini SIM card then you should either buy either Redmi Note 4G or Glam 5.
We can't recommend Redmi 1S since it comes with Android Jelly Bean. With plenty of KitKat phones near your disposal, it will not be a wise to invest for a JellyBean phone worth Rs 6000.

According to specifications, Lenovo A6000 will be pretty light weight with only 128 grams and 7.9 mm thickness. The reduction of thickness will be probably due to IPS display panel.
Lenovo A6000 will be exclusively available on flipkart.com as a flash sale on January 28, 2015. You need to register to purchase the phone and will have to be online at 2 PM on January 28 to grab it.

Not that impressive either. Branded as RedMi Note killer, the phone is not expected to pose any challenges. I would, in fact suggest Yu Yureka though costlier.
