iWriter Review- The good, bad and personal experience

iWriter is a common platform for the website owners and content writers. It has become quite popular in the past few years. This post explains in detail about the features of iWriter, its advantages and disadvantages.

If you are a content writer, you might have heard of the website iWriter.com. This website allows writers to work on client projects. There are a number of projects submitted by people from all over the world. Each approved article gives a certain amount of money to the content writer. The websites also takes fix amount per article. This post explains in detail about the features, advantages and disadvantages of iWriter website. I have also shared my own experience on the website.

Advantages of iWriter

For writers, the best part is that you can start writing the articles just after signing up on the website. There are no tests conducted like other websites. For clients, the benefit is that they have to pay only for the approved article. This means that if there are mistakes in the article, they can ask the writer for revisions. If the article still has many mistakes, client can reject it. It is a win win situation for clients. There are different ratings for the writer which determine the earning per article.

Disadvantages of iWriter

For writers, the biggest disadvantage is that their article may get rejected and thus all the effort goes waste. Moreover, some clients leave bad ratings which reduces the earning per article. Moreover, the competition has increased a lot these days. It means that the number of content writers has increased a lot and thus the website is not a reliable source of income anymore.

My experience on iWriter

I used the website quite a lot in the past. In the initial days of the website, I was able to make about $400- $500 per month on the website easily. However, things have changed a lot since then. The competition has increased quite a lot over the last few years. There are currently more than 1 lakh writers on the website and thus easy or high paying projects get picked up as soon as they are posted on the website. However, one can easily earn pocket money on the website. For instance, it is still possible to make $50-$100 per month by giving just 1 hour a day on average. It still depends on a number of factors. The primary factor here is your rating which determines the amount you will be paid per article.
