AdSense is one of the most popular income streams for bloggers all over the world. However, one needs to take certain precautions in order keep the AdSense account safe. One requirement for Google Adsense program is there should not be adult content on the website.

There are a number of AdSense policies that should be taken care of in order to protect the Adsense account and one of these is related to adult content on the websites. In this post, I will explain in detail what is considered as adult content by AdSense and how to protect your Adsense account from violating the policy related to it.

Adult Content for AdSense

Recently I was reading the official AdSense blog and found an article on adult content on it and thus I thought to share my opinion on this issue to make things clear for my readers who are AdSense publishers. As per AdSense policy AdSense ads can be placed only on family safe content. Family safe content is a broad term and there are often much confusion regarding this among the publishers. Pornographic content is not allowed at all on websites displaying Google ads but you should also not post content related to adult toys or fetish sites, sheer/see-through clothing. If you have links on your websites that point to mature content then also your AdSense can be banned by Google. Another thing to be taken care of is regarding the text also and it should be ensured that offensive words and adult words should also be avoided. Even comments should be checked and it should be ensured that that they do not contain adult keywords.

I hope this post helped you to learn about the adult content regarding AdSense policies. If you have any doubt post as a comment below.
