Disadvantages of installing Windows 10 on a PC

There are plenty of bugs in Windows 10 Technical preview and it is hard to get used to it. Below are some bugs in Windows 10 that made me revert back to Windows 8.1 OS.

1. Things work fast except opening of Network option when you click on "Networks" icon on the taskbar.

2. It also takes a long duration of time after you click on "Personalize" in the Start Menu.

3. As I chose to keep system files, personal settings and apps before installing Windows 10, I can't remove, reinstall or repair Microsoft Office 2013.

4. Unable to open to BIOS menu and other stuff at the start. I am confused about how the Windows 10 OS affects the keys to open BIOS settings?

An advantage I experienced!

Though Windows 10 Technical Preview is full of cons, yet I experienced a cool advantage that it hard to find. It is the fast booting and fast turn off.

But there is a bug in that also. I didn't felt the fast boot and turn off for couple of hours.

No need of key for activating Windows 10

You can activate Windows 10 without a key like I did. Follow the steps below after you have successfully installed Windows 10 on your PC:

1. Connect your PC to the internet.

2. Open "PC settings" from the Start Menu.

3. In the Activate Windows tab, click "Activate".

4. Restart and you're done!

I only recommend these steps for activating Windows 10 on a PC. I can't guarantee its working on virtual machines. Still looking for product keys of Windows 10, click here to get them.
