Ignore No More review – The best Android App for parents of teens

Teen kids not answering your calls? Worry not! Install the 'Ignore No More' app on their Android phone that will lock their mobile device until they return the call.

I have never met Sharon Standifird, but I already like the woman, and I like her creation - the Ignore No More app even more. Sharon recently hit headlines, for creating one of the most powerful tools that comes as succor for parents to teenagers.

Why Ignore More App

Sharon is an ordinary mom to two teenagers. Her problem was akin to what parents all over the globe go through – her teenager ignored her calls and text messages whenever he was out with friends. You must have been there, if you are a parent to a teen.
The lady came up with a practical solution to this problem and development of an Android app, that forces teens take or return calls. Now how cool is that!
Ignore No More is an Android app that allows parents to remotely lock their kids' smartphone from anywhere, if their calls go unanswered. Once the phone is locked using the Ignore No More app the only way for the kid to access the devise is by making a call to his parents; who can then unlock the phone. To put it simply, parents can use this app to remotely hold their kid's mobile phones at ransom, to get their kids to act. Smart move mom!

The Pros

After months of working with designers and developers Sharon's idea has finally become a reality. The Android app is simple to install and gives parents some control over their kids.

Presently the app can be installed on mobile devices running on Android Version 3.0+
It can be download from Google Play for a small fee of $1.99 and Rs.119.99 in India, by Android phone users.
Installation and set up takes approximately 10 minutes.
Parents can use the app to remotely lock their teens' mobile phones, using their own phones
Locked phones can be used to call only select numbers (including 911).
Upon installation, parents can set a password that can unlock the phone.
Locking the device makes the phone virtually useless, as most functions and applications stop operating. The kid will be unable to make or receive calls, send text messages, browse the net, shop or play games, and will be forced to call back his parents to have the instrument unlocked.
A locked phone can be used for making emergency calls to 911, and to select preset numbers.
A single account can have multiple mobile numbers linked to it, giving parents' control over mobile phones of more than one teen via different mobile devices.

The cons

The app does not have major concerns; but some people look at it as being overly controlling.
It is looked at by some as encroachment of privacy.

The verdict

While teens hate the app; most parents love it – That is the best way to describe "Ignore No More".

The app cannot access your teen's phone, so it does not invade his privacy. It just locks the mobile device sending a 'subtle' message to call back.

The app is (ICE) Interactive Connectivity enabled, and does not obstruct either ICE or calls to first responder.

If you think tech savvy teens will be able to find a way to disable the app be assured that is not possible. The Ignore No More app is close to impossible to tamper with. Once the app is installed, it stays right there, and works the way it is supposed to.

The Android app keeps connectivity between parents and teens open. If the app grabs your attention you can log onto www.ignorenomoreapp.com for more details on the product.
