1. Go to www.YouTube.com and login using your Google account.

2. Make sure you have selected the correct channel in your YouTube account.

11. Now it is time to sign in to the correct Google account of the AdSense account that you want to link with your YouTube channel. If you have 2-step verification, you will have to complete that step as well. Once you successfully sign in, you will be prompted to accept your AdSense - YouTube association.

Accept AdSense association

12. At this stage, you have completed associating your AdSense account with your YouTube channel. However, since you went through a Google account sign in for a different Google account, you may no longer be signed in to your correct YouTube account. When you go back to the YouTube account, make sure you are logged in to the correct YouTube account to see and manage your YouTube channel.

Tony Sir,
What exactly are the benefits of associating YouTube with another AdSense account? Is it not better to have it associated with the same account?

Guest Author: Micheal10 Nov 2015

Please help me. Each time I try to associate a new account, it will give me the same message, saying it is "inactive" but I already have another Google account active to my AdSense account and cannot add my other YouTube channel to it. I made the mistake of creating a 2nd AdSense account and associating it with my 2nd channel, so it says it cannot make a duplicate account. Please help as I am going in circles trying to figure this out and I just want to have both accounts under one name.
