How to Install WhatsApp on PC or Laptop


Installation of WhatsApp on PC is simple. There are two methods to Install WhatsApp on your desktop PC or laptop. Choose the easiest one for you as per your convenience.
  1. Download and install WhatsApp using BlueStacks
  2. Download and install WhatsApp using Wassapp

First method - Installing Whatsapp using BlueStacks


Follow these under mentioned steps to download and install WhatsApp on PC or Laptop.
  1. Download BlueStack. You can find it easily on internet.
  2. After downloading the file, double click on downloaded BlueStacks file.
  3. Click continue and install it on your PC or Laptop.
  4. Now download WhatsApp APK File from the internet.
  5. After downloading the WhatsApp APK file, install it on your PC or Laptop.
  6. Now open BlueStacks from the shortcut created on your PC.
  7. In BlueStacks, click on My Apps.
  8. Now you will see WhatsApp, Click on it.
  9. Accept terms and Conditions.
  10. Enter your mobile number when prompted.
  11. Type your Country Code (like 91 for India) and enter your mobile number.
  12. Now WhatsApp will try to verify your number, but it will show fail message.
  13. Now click on Call Me. You will receive an automatic call with a confirmation number, write down that number.
  14. Now type the received number in verification field.

You are done with the installation of Whatsapp on your personal computer or laptop now. So go on and enjoy the newly installed WhatsApp on PC or Lappy.

Second Method - Downloading and installing Whatsapp on PC using Wassapp


Wassapp is an unofficial Whatsapp client. In this method, we will learn how to use Wassapp to install Whatsapp on PC or Laptop. Follow these steps to download and install Whatsapp on PC using Wassapp
  1. Search for Wassapp on internet. Download it and install. Wassapp. .
  2. After installing, open Wassapp and login using your Whatsapp username and password.
  3. If you do not have already created account then register. Click on register button.
  4. Now enter your phone number and password. For an Android phone, the password will be same as its IMEI number. You can find the IMEI Number at the back of your Android device under battery or by typing this code : *#06#.
  5. Now choose the mode of verification either by SMS or Phone call and click on Request Code.
  6. Now if you have selected SMS then you will get a SMS from WhatsApp with a code and if you have selected phone call then you will receive a computerized call with unique code, Note it down.
  7. Put the code you received by SMS or Phone call in Wassapp client and now you will get a computer-generated password and you can use that password for login.

Now we have installed Wassapp in our Windows PC or laptop. But in order to use the application, we need to add contacts on WhatsApp installed on PC.

After installing the application successfully, you must be wondering about contacts as you might be seeing zero contacts. We need to add contacts and phone numbers manually in WhatsApp installed on the personal computer or a laptop. So let us see the procedure for adding contacts in PC WhatsApp.

Adding contacts to WhatsApp


When we install WhatsApp in phone it checks automatically for contacts but in case of PC we have to add it manually. Follow these steps to add contacts in WhatsApp using Bluestecks.
  1. Open WhatsApp in Bluestack.
  2. Click on menu icon at the bottom.
  3. Click on contacts icon.
  4. Again click on menu icon.
  5. Click on add contact.
  6. Enter the required fields with contact number and name.
  7. Click on done.
  8. Continue the steps mentioned above to add more contacts.

That's all! Now you can use Whatsapp on PC and can send and receive SMS and messages for the added contacts.
