Nokia Lumia 630 packs dual SIM, WP 8.1, 4.5 inch IPS Display, Expandable Storage of 128 GB


The recently released dual-SIM Nokia Lumia 630 ships with Windows Phone 8.1, Snapdragon 400 CPU, 4.5-inch IPS ClearBlack display with Gorilla Glass 3, 512 MB RAM and an expandable storage capacity upto 128 GB. The new device will be available in India from May 16, 2014.

It's official. Nokia has announced the release of dual-SIM Nokia Lumia 630 powered with Windows Phone 8.1 in a recently held press conference in New Delhi.

The new device will be available from May 16, 2014 in India at all major online and offline retailers.

Nokia Lumia 630 will have the following features as was announced in the Build conference in April 2014.

(1) 4.5-inch IPS ClearBlack display
(2) Gorilla Glass 3
(3) 512 MB RAM
(4) 854 x 480 pixels resolution
(5) Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor at 1.2 GHz
(6) Windows Phone 8.1
(7) 5 MP Camera (Back)
(8) microSD slot with expandable storage of a whooping 128GB capacity

According to reliable sources, Nokia Lumia 630 doesn't ship with a front camera, flash but will have a new technology codenamed - SensorCore which delivers low power motion sensing to help people track their activity all day using apps like Bing Health and Fitness.

The dual SIM phone variant features two separate phone and messaging tiles in various colors to keep calls, contacts, messages and calendars.

While the dual-SIM Nokia Lumia 630 costs Rs 11,500, the device will also be available in single SIM with a price tag of approximately Rs 10,500.
Nokia bundles India specific version of Lumia 630 with following items

(1) BoxTV Access free for 2 months
(2) Free eBooks worth INR 2000 on Flipkart
(3) Six free games by Gameloft
(4) nexGTv IPL Cricket App

Moreover, Vodafone customers will be able to enjoy 1 GB of 3G data per month free of cost for a period of 2 months. Nokia has not yet disclosed the availability date of Lumia 625, which was launched officially along with Lumia 630.

"Microsoft and Nokia will continue to test newer device at various price points," said P Balaji, Managing Director, Nokia India.

Along with Lumia 630, Microsoft Devices also announced the launch of a treasure tag, which enable users to track keys and bags. It will be available by the end of May at a retail price of Rs 2099. Moreover, the company also released a new bluetooth speaker optimized for Lumia devices at a price of Rs 5499 and will be available from the middle of June.
