Flipkart First Announced, Promises to offer Free Shipping, One Day Delivery and Premium Support

Flipkart, India's popular e-commerce company has announced the launch of a subscription based service named - Flipkart First. The main aim of the service is to collect an upfront payment from customers and then offer premium services.

Flipkart First promises to offer free shipping on all orders with no minimum purchase. This means you can buy any item without paying additional cost for shipping. It also offers free in-a-day delivery, which enable you to receive the order within a day and discounted same day delivery which claims same day delivery of orders. These services will vary depending upon the city you are located.



For instance, if you are located in Bangalore you will get orders on the same day provided you place your order within a specific time. However, if you are located far away, you will have to wait for a day to get the item you ordered.

According to official sources, Flipkart First will offer priority 24x7 customer service and 60 day free replacement of items instead of the existing 30 days. Flipkart is planning to introduce additional benefits which will be available for those customers who have joined the service from time to time.

Flipkart First will be available free of cost for three months for the randomly selected 75,000 customers. You will be notified by May 20 in case if you are eligible for the offer. This premium service will be available only for buyers who
purchase goods from the seller - WS Retail.

The new service is similar to that of Amazon.com Prime, which offers similar kind of benefits for customers based in USA.
