Are you looking for a cool, full features app launcher for your Android device? In this post, I am doing an in depth analysis of MoboLive, the latest launch from MoboRobo.
My wife lost her iPhone few weeks ago and since then I had no rest. She wasn't ready to buy my suggestion to buy a newer version of the iPhone and wanted me to prove that I have the same level love to her phone just like she loved it. We had many paid apps in our phones and many of them could not be shared because they were on different platforms.
I had a review unit of Moto G and I let her use it for few days. Everyday she came up with some or other reason to go back to an iOS device. For her, the native Android looked very dull and not intuitive.
I wasn't ready to give up and started looking for ways to make Android look better. I knew the real beauty of Android is its potential to customize it. I reviewed several launchers in my attempt to make my wife love the Android devices. 4. Fixed the lag issue - if you have used the previous versions before and was upset with the lag between screens, here is the good news for you. MoboLive makes the Android phone very lively, just like any other professional launchers. But what makes it one level above others is, the rich set of features packed into it. Let me go through some of the features of this app.
Ram booster: This is the first feature you would notice when you launch this app not just because it is the first icon in the app screen, but this is something that everyone would want to have. Like the name suggests, the Ram booster will free up a lot of memory by closing unused apps and releasing system resources. You have the option to manually close some of the unused apps, which are not automatically closed if the app is not sure about it.
Memo widget: I am not sure how many different Notes & Memo apps I have tried. I kept switching from one to another since I never found an ideal one. MoboLive ships with a simple memo app that serves the purpose. What makes it a choice is, you don't need to install another app. The Memo widget is shipped with the MoboLive.
Themes: There are dozens of free and premium themes you can download and install. My wife tried many and finally settled with the "", which gives a feminine look altogether to the black Moto G wrapped in a red color hard case. I have seen her occasionally switching to the "Dark Apple" theme, in loving memory of her lost iPhone!

Security Center & Startup Apps: I didn't know I had so many apps initiated automatically as soon as I start my phone. The list was pretty big and that made me uninstall many of them which are not really required for me. Even though I was able to see all the startup apps, I couldn't use the same feature to Turn On or Turn Off them since it was available only for rooted devices. The security center identifies the apps that have access to core system features and running in the background that will help you disable unwanted apps that consumes your valuable system resources like battery.
Cleaner: This is another handy utility every smartphone needs. The Cleaner widget allows you to hand pick the apps and close it to release memory and other system resources and also to save your battery.
App Manager: The built-in App Manager makes it convenient to manage your apps in the phone. You can uninstall or change the settings of all of your apps from a single place. To uninstall many applications at the same time, all you have to do is, select all the apps to be installed and then click on "Uninstall" button just once. The Apps Transfer feature allows you to move apps to an SD card, if your phone supports the same.
Recent Apps: This will show you all the apps you recently accessed in your phone. If you just want to re open a closed app, this option will be handy for you.
Recent Install: Did you just install a new app in your Android phone but can't locate the icon to start it? In MoboLive, you can find all recently installed apps in one place and you don't need to browse your entire list to find them.
Battery Management: The biggest challenge with my Android phone is the battery life. If I use it just to make calls, I can use it all day and no issues. But I want to use mobile data and browse a lot of websites, sorry, my phone disappoints me. The battery manager built into MoboLive gives me a high level over view of how my phone uses the battery and allows me to optimize it. 
Backup Manager: MoboLive is not just a launcher but it comes with very useful features like back up and restore. If you have ever lost a phone, you will know the value of having a back up of all your data. Most backup utilities allow only taking backup of personal data but MoboLive goes one step further. With this backup tool, you can backup even the installed programs, which will allow you to restore your apps in case you need to recover your phone.
