List of PC video games releasing in India in April 2014

Know the best games for PC that are have been released in the month of April and are going to be released soon. Know their features, prices and their date of availability.

The month of March saw the release of some cool games like Titanfall, Dark Souls 2 and InFamous: Second Son. However, the month of April is even more crowded and a lot of games are scheduled to release this month and at the time of writing this of course, half of them have already been released. So here, we are compiling a list for you of the games that have and will be released this month specifically for PC.

1. Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate Deluxe Edition (April 1)

This game has already been released on PlayStation Vita's 2.5D back in October previous year. It didn't do wonders on the PS Vita and when it comes on PC the only difference is that this time it is in HD. This sidescroller game won't be available through online or offline retailers and the only way to get it will be Steam. It will be also out of other consoles- Wii U, PlayStation Network, Xbox Live Arcade.

2. Call of Duty: Ghosts - Devastation DLC (April 3)

The popular title Call of Duty: Ghosts will get its second multiplayer update. The update will add 4 new maps in it and a 4 player co-op story mode based mission named Extinction. It will also have new bosses namely Predator, Seeder and Kraken and a new weapon named Ripper. Ripper is a sub machine and assault switchable gun named as EvoPro III within the game files of COD.

3. The Elder Scrolls Online (April 4)

Elder Scrolls Online is going to be one of the biggest MMORPGs games you would have ever seen. It is going to feature the complete map of Tamriel from Vvardenfell to Skyrim. It is going to come for both Mac and PC. Do note that it has a monthly subscription system rather than a one time purchase. You will be finally able to enjoy this wonderful game with a friend.

4. Daylight (April 8)

A not so famous horror game, Daylight has been released this April. It features the story of a woman, Sarah who is in amnesia. She wakes up in a hospital and uncovers the secrets of the hospital with the help of some tools. You will be playing the role of Sarah and will try to escape the ghostly house.

5. Don Bradman Cricket 14 (April 8)

This game was earlier scheduled to release on 4th April, but the launch was delayed and it was finally released on 8th April by Big Ant Studios. It is for those lovers of cricket you have enjoyed the previous versions of Cricket. It can be played both single and multiplayer. You can customize your player, can have day/night matches, will have dynamic weather changes and much more.

Ghost Recon Online (April 10)

Ubisoft's Ghost Recon free to play series continues with the launch of Ghost Recon Online. Famous for its teamwork heavy gameplay rather than the blind shoot and blow, you can go online and sign up for free to play. It is another great game in the likes of Battlefield Play 4 Free which are free to play online and don't ask for anything to continue playing. It's earning source is based on in-game bonuses through micro-transactions just like many other games which are experimenting with this model. You earn experience by taking down enemies and completing missions. This in turn will unlock weapons, abilities and outfits.

6. LEGO The Hobbit – (April 11)

Probably the most famous game to be released in April, LEGO The Hobbit has come out this month. It has been released for PC, PS3/4 and Xbox and is available for PC at the lowest price of Rs.499. It follows through the story told in the books or movie and if you don't know it yet, is famous for its slapstick humor and the multiplayer gameplay it providers. The Hobbit shows the story of Bilbo, the uncle of Frodo, the main character of the Lord of the Rings series and how he came in the possession of the rings. The start screen shows Bilbo rummaging around in his small hut with Gandalf peeking through the window and after that it is the exciting journey through the middle of the earth.

7. Trials Fusion (April 18)

Trials Fusion is part of the famous Trials series which features bike racing. Recently we reviewed Trials Frontier which launched on App Store. Trials Fusion comes with a lot of improvements in levels, racing tracks and better graphics. This won't be available at retail shops and you will have rely on Steam again.

8. Dark Souls 2 (April 25)

Dark Souls 2 is an extremely difficult game. If you are new, you will die once, then twice and then you would just lose the number of times you die in the game. Patience and learning from your past mistakes is the key in this game. Difficult boss fights, open world gameplay and some more features give a great game to you.

If you are an experienced player then you won't find any difference in the gameplay. It is just that the rules of gameplay have changed but everything else remains the same, including the difficulty level which many were fearing would be diluted to increase its reach amongst audience.

9. Child of Light (April 30)

Child of Light is a 2D sidescroller game by Ubisoft. It runs on the UbiART engine which earlier premiered Rayman series. It is a role playing game where you play the character Aurora who has been stolen from her home and now she must struggle to get back home. It is being released for Wii U, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in addition to being released on PC.

If you are planning to buy a game this month then you should definitely go for one of these games to get the best return for you money. Make sure you have a powerful rig to run these games!
