Then the whole new social strategy game "Pirates: Tides of Fortune" just tailored fit to suit you. It would be a complete mind boggling package both in terms of its storyline and high end graphics.

Pirates: Tides of Fortune has been developed by Plarium the gaming giant behind the successful developing of Total domination: Nuclear strategy. In this social strategy game you get to see the whole life of a pirate from the very basic thing of raiding to the advanced levels of fortifying your defense. So it provides you a peek at just every aspect of being a pirate from the tender to tough, suffering to engaging and everything completely beyond your imagination. Let us now peek inside the actual game, its levels and the whole lot of stuff you would be really eager to know.

In the game of Pirates: Tides of Fortune on Google+, you are an aspiring pirate at the starting and you get to work under Lass who is a really experienced pirate. He guides you through your journey to become an experienced pirate like him. In the journey you get to see a plethora of circumstances which can be challenging yet interesting. In your journey you are required to assemble and raise the goldmines, lumber yards as well as rum distilleries.

You also need to hire people using your resources so that you can improve the security and defend the island which you may be creating by utilizing all the resources from the pirate haven. Moreover you are also required to make trade relations with other captains, do complete research and development work to invent new technologies for your haven and for your ship.

So all in all it is not a type of game where you are provided with a complete set of instructions and a set path where you just have to follow the instructions and move on the set path to succeed. You cannot just sit and click on buttons instead it is a type of game where at every walk of the game you have to sit down and apply your mind, make a strategy and decide the future course of action. So it is a game which combines the strategy and empire building strategies. One more point I want to stress about the gaming except the strategy is it's in game voicing which is really cool as you would always feel with the background score and the music as provided in the game always give you a feel of a music concert.

Now even though I found these many points in favor of this game there were also some weaklings in this game. First and foremost it would be an uphill task for a newbie to get acquainted with the game. Even the tutorial which is provided is not so impressive. You would even fall in ambiguity in the usage of various resources which is one of the basic tasks in the game. As in the whole game you have to utilize the resources and perform all the tasks provided like upgrading of gold mines, lumber yards etc and hiring people to improve the security. One more thing that disturbs the gaming experience is its slow pace and it takes time for subsequent missions to get loaded.

In the end I do rate it as one of the great games as it is a great social strategy game where you can sit down and apply your mind. Even though being a strategy game do pose a uphill task for a novice but with experience you can be great player and it is one of those games that will keep you glued to your sits as at no point in the game you will feel bored and each part of the game provides you with whole new avenues to scale.
