Interview with Imran Uddin - A popular blogger & SEO expert

You are a well known blogger and require no introduction. Still can you please introduce yourself to our readers as a formality?

First of all, I feel honoured to be here. I am Imran Uddin, I manage over 50+ blogs now of which AllTechBuzz.net is one of my primary blogs. I blog on technology, how to tips, SEO, internet marketing and much more.

How did you come into blogging and how many years have you been blogging?

I am a computer freak. While I was just browsing, I came across the word called "blogging" and I also read that we can make money via blogging. Then I thought that I can use my computer skills to blog and make money from my blog. I have been blogging since 2 years.

Currently how many blogs/niche sites do you run/operate?

Currently, I operate more than 50 blogs and I keep on creating a blog/website every two days. So you can imagine how many blogs I manage.

What are your other sources of income apart from revenue from your blogs/niche sites?

I also offer SEO services, so I make money from my services as well.

What is your daily schedule? How many hours do you dedicate to blogging? What would be your advice to part time bloggers, especially college students to manage blogs as well as studies effectively?

I recently left my college. I write on my blogs for about 12-14 hours daily.

What are the big challenges you face during blogging and how do you overcome it?

Biggest challenge for me was making money out of a blog. I thought it was almost impossible in the beginning. Still, I kept on publishing articles consistently and made $6 eventually and this boosted my confidence that I can make money out of my blog.

Which webmasters/bloggers are your role model? Which blogs and websites do you follow on a regular basis?

Amit Agarwal and Neil Patel are my all time inspirations and I follow their blogs on regular basis. In addition to that I also follow SeoRoundtable, Search Engine Land and few more blogs.

Getting an approved AdSense account has become very difficult these days. What would be your suggestion to newbie bloggers to get an approved AdSense account? Also tell us which source of revenue you suggest as an alternative to Google Adsense?

I suggest not to think about AdSense for the first 6 months and focus on building traffic to the blog. Once your blog gets good reputation, then there are over hundreds of networks to monetize your blog. In addition to that, if you have a good blog, your AdSense application will get approved easily.

In addition to AdSense, I would suggest you to go for Direct Banner Advertisements and Sponsored Reviews. You can also try BuySellAds and Tribal Fusion.

What do you think about the future of blogging? Will it continue to be a profitable business in the long run?

Yes, of course. Blogging is expanding day by day. In a few years, every student will be having a blog of their own. But when it comes to getting profit from a blog, you have to come up with some unique stuff.

What do you think about the future of SEO?

Now its all about social media rather than SEO. And great content plays a major role in SEO, as always.

What are your future plans?

I just started my own company related to Blogging/SEO/Internet Marketing. So right now my main aim is to promote this company.
