HP 15 laptop
This laptop offers both reliability and performance to its users. Physically, the light weight 2.5 kg notebook is sober in look with glossy black chassis. It has a full-sized keyboard with numeric keypad and HP offers one-year onsite warranty for this laptop. It is a budget oriented computing machine, which is suitable for students and the users who need computer just for browsing on internet or keeping their songs, videos and office work in their system. Specifications and features
The 15-inches HP laptop runs on Microsoft latest 64-bit Windows 8.1 operating system that allows you scrolling your finger onto its multi touch display screen. It encompasses Intel's Pentium N3510 processor accompanied by Integrated HP graphics for optimizing users' visual and gaming experience. The portable computer is packed with 2GB of RAM and 500GB of hard drive. Moreover, HP also fixed an HD webcam on device for online video chat. Pricing and availability
The affordable price ranged HP 15 is now available to buy in market and a customer will be required to pay Rs 28,990 for buying this Windows 8 machine.HP Pavilion 15 TouchSmart laptop
The second 15-inches notebook from HP is more sleek, stylish and rather lighter in weight. It is a well performing machine with comparatively high end specification hence priced more than HP 15. It can be the better option for the IT professionals or the users who require large storage disk to store their programs and heavy software. The users who need very fast processing speed and multi tasking can also go for this Windows laptop.Specifications and features
This Windows 8.1 machine is performance oriented as it comes with more powerful dual-core processor Intel Core i5-4200U with 1.6GHz clocking frequency and more powerful NVIDIA GT 740M mobile GPU. The TouchSmart is also better than HP 15 for having just double 4GB of RAM and the hard disk storage OF 1TB.
Even after having such a nice specification, in some manners, I personally found this tablet to be at lower side to company's earlier low priced HP Omni 10 convertible tablet. Even after having smaller display of 10-inches, the HP Omni tablet comes with separate Bluetooth keyboard, mouse and a quad-core Bay Trail Atom Z3770 processor. On the other hand the new Pavilion 15 TouchSmart is comparatively better than Omni 10 in respect to having more 4GB RAM and huge 1TB of storage.Pricing and availability
HP set the price of 15-inches Pavilion 15 TouchSmart model at Rs 49,990 and soon it will be available to purchase in Indian market. Conclusion
By carrying both Windows 8 computers HP tried to attract both budget as well as performance demanding customers. Last month, both these HP laptop were announced in a tech-event in Delhi along with HP Envy 17 special edition notebook with Leap Motion that offers gesture based input. Envy 17 is a very expensive top quality Windows 8.1 laptop but its really is heavier weight. Besides this, the company also offered two more VoiceTab variants HP Slate 6 and Slate 7 both with voice calling facility.
