Lenovo IdeaPad Flex convertible tablet launches in Indian market

Introduction to Lenovo IdeaPad Flex
Today, many pioneer tech makers like Lenovo, HP and Toshiba have adopted the strategy to offer low priced handy tablet and laptops in market. Lenovo's IdeaPad Flex is an instance of the same. By introducing this Windows 8.1 hybrid tablet computer, Lenovo targeted at the budget customers. The company claims this notebook to be the world's first convertible notebook with 10-point multi-touch display.
It features 14 inches display with an AccuType keyboard that allows the device to be two-in-one at anytime. Hence a user can convert the tablet to laptop and vice-versa just by adding or removing the dock.
Specifications of IdeaPad Flex
Look wise, the hybrid tablet is cool that physically measures to 343mm x 250mm x 5.8mm with black colored body. It comes with OneKey recovery feature, Lenovo Cloud storage to share and access your files, songs and other data at remote cloud server. It also features a 720p front camera and an HD webcam.
The 14-inches notebook has 1366 x 768 pixels of screen resolution and its 10-point multi-touch display is capable to flip up to 300 degrees.
Processor and storage
It runs latest Windows 8.1 operating system from Microsoft hence packed with all touch screen features. It is powered up by up to 4th generation core i7 processor with an optional Nvidia GeForce GT 740M graphics card. It also comes loaded with 4GB of RAM and 500GB of hard drive. Hence internally, it is a strong machine that will allow users playing videos, enjoying games and working on Microsoft Office sheets for hours, without any interference.
Lenovo packed their Windows 8 device with plenty of connecting ports such as RJ45Ethernet, Wi-Fi for wireless as well as HDMI out for video streaming. Moreover, the device is also has two USB 2.0, one USB 3.0 and a two-in-one card reader.
The IdeaPad Flex carries legacy of IdeaPad series and also shows Energy Management efficiency. For having a 4-cell 45Wh battery support the tablet is considered to have strong power backup. The company claims it to offer up to 9 hours of normal standby time when power supply is terminated.
The laptop has already been launched and available to buy at online retailers at mid price range. The tablet is now also available to purchase in Indian market at the nominal price of Rs 42,250.

In year 2013, Lenovo carried many low priced tablet and laptops to computer market and their earlier Miix 1.0 and Miix 2 models are some of them. Lenovo Miix is the Win 8 based convertible machine with 10.1-inch display screen while the Miix 2 is an 8-inches tablet model that like Flex also runs 8.1 version of latest OS.
Though the new budget friendly IdeaPad computer has larger display, better resolution and powerful battery life than Miix model but unlike it IdeaPad 2 does not have stylus.
