How to setup Evolution mail in Fedora?

Evolution is the email program used to configure webmail. In this article I have given details about how to set up Evolution program in Fedora operating system. Follow the below tutorials to easily setup your mail accounts in Fedora.

Evolution in Fedora - Evolution is a email program like Microsoft Outlook/Windows Live Mail. This program is pre-installed with Libre Office in latest Fedora versions. Evolution features calendar, memo, address book, multiple accounts and share vCards. This is an open source software, no doubt you need not to spend even a penny for this software. It also supports plugin through which you can add RSS reader and many other features to it. You can also sync and view Yahoo! Calendar and Google Calendar which is the best part of it. The synchronization process takes an instant when you configure Yahoo! Or Google mail in Evolution.

Evolution set up in Fedora

Launch Evolution from the left side pan. The set up involves six easy steps. You need not to enter the send/receive settings manually. Once you feed your email address, it will automatically retrieve the send/receive settings. So your only duty is to enter the user id and password of your web mail account. However in some cases you need to assign the send/receive settings by your own. In that case just Google it and enter the appropriate settings in the appropriate columns. There is nothing hard in adding a email account in Evolution.
