Creative Filter - There is an inbuilt Creative Filter in the EOS 600D. It allows use of multiple effects like soft focus, fisheye, miniature effect, grainy B/W and toy camera effect. This feature is not applicable in the EOS 1100D.
Picture Mode - There is a Scene Intelligent Auto Mode in the 1100D and Scene Intelligent Auto Mode+ in the 600D. The feature allows automatic analyses and adjustment of color, brightness & contrast as per the shooting conditions. The more advanced picture mode in the 600D gives superior color options and brightness adjustments in any kind of environment. Video Recording - The EOS 1100D allows HD Video Recording whereas the 600D allows Full HD Video Recording. The 1100D is suitable only for casual shooting.
