3D Dice Android mini game review

You can find the review of 3D Dice Android game by CuteApp. Read the full review of this real world dice simulation app.

Here is our views on an Android app we tried recently. I am not really an active gamer, but I do occasionally play some strategy games which require using a dice. If you don't mind using my phone for assistance while playing board games, then the 3D Dice app can convert your phone into a dice simulator for real world dice games and board games that require rolling a dice.

Dice 3D Game The app I am reviewing here is the 3D Dice Android mini game. Before I talk in detail about the game play, tips etc, let me give an overview and technical specifications of the app.

- As the name indicates, it is a dice rolling utility. You roll the dice on the phone by shaking the device. There are about 20 different dice types you can choose from. The options allow you to roll up to 6 dice at the same time.

- It works pretty fine even with old builds of Android. According to the developers, it works with Android 2.1 onwards. I played it on my Nexus 4, which is running on Android 4.3.

- The installer is about 13.5Mb, which is reasonable size for this kind of apps. Depending on your internet speed, you may be able to download it within few minutes.

Interesting features and gameplay

Even though this is a simple utility, it gives some realistic experience on your phone. The best thing that you will notice is, the realistic 3D effects. You have to shake the phone to roll the dice and the sounds you hear while rolling the dice is kind of interesting. If the sound effects are enabled, nobody will miss the dice rolling.

How to play: The free version is ad supported and so if you see any ads, skip through it to proceed to the game. When you see the main screen, slide left or right on the top panel to choose the preferred dice. Then mildly shake the phone to roll the dice. Make sure you have enabled the sound to get a realistic feeling. You can enable or disable the sound directly from the play screen by clicking the volume enable/disable icon.

There is not a lot to do within the game. You can use this app as a dice rolling device when you play any physical board games. There are few advantages for 3D Dice over physical dice. On 3D dice, you can choose up to 6 dice at the same time and play your board game easily by using the phone instead of physical dice. Don't worry about losing the dice and searching for them every time when you want to play your favorite games. Just pick up your phone and start rolling the dice!

Pros and Cons

The main advantage worth mentioning here is the interesting graphics and good number of available dice types. Main cons include the ads displayed in the game and lack of real gaming features. It is a simple app that allows you to use your phone as a dice to play physical board games.

One of the biggest complaints about this game is, it shows too many annoying ads. When you start the app, it flashes one Ad. Then you will be prompted to purchase another game, which you have to accept or reject to proceed to the app. Even within the app, you will see an Ad, which always stays in the top of the screen. In addition, this app pushes many notifications to your Android phone notification area, promoting other games, which is nothing but another form of Ads.

Download and install 3D Dice

To download the game, go to Google Play Store in your Android device. If you sync your computer with your Google accounts, you can visit the Android Play Store website and select for downloading.
