LG G2 vs Apple iPhone 5s vs Nokia Lumia 1020 - Three giants from three platforms
Here I am going to make comparison about the exterior design, build featutres, display specifications and battery life between LG G2, Apple iPhone 5s, and Nokia Lumia 1020, the three giants from three platforms. Read this article and find out which is leading in each features.
These three different platforms are targeting different sets of users and they are the best from their family. Apple iPhone 5S just hit the shelves and breaks the previous records. LG stands in their greatest position, top of the Android. Nokia comes with the worlds most powerful Windows smartphone as well as best camera phone. The first impression of each device is its exterior design which makes it beautiful and perfect. If a device is having a perfect design and beauty then it can hunt down the mind of others. Exterior design and built qualities are the two sides of a coin. The raw materials used for the production of the device plays a major role in the perfection of the design. When we comparing these three smartphones, those are manufactured by high quality raw materials which gives a perfect look for these.
Apple iPhone 5s comes with a compact design and light weight in nature.
It provides a premium touch for the iPhone 5s. But they have failed in creating a good screen size and display resolution when comparing to the other two devices. On the other hand LG is standing at the top of Android market and their LG G2 is such a device which stables that position. When we talking about its external appearance, it comes with an impressively massive display and the switches are placed at the back. Nokia comes with their most powerful Windows 8 phone, the Nokia Lumia 1020 with a 41 MP crisp and clear camera. The 6 element ZEISS lens of the 41 MP camera is accommodated by a large round plate at the rear side.
The iPhone 5s having the build and finish of iPhone 4 which is launched by Apple 4 years ago. And it is also a copy of the iPhone 5 with few differences like redesigned iOS 7 operating system etc. In iPhone 5s the home key is integrated with a finger print camera. In LG G2 the power/lock key and the volume locks have been located at the back. Its glossy plastic finish will cover the finger prints quickly. In Nokia Lumia 1020 the usual set of three capacitive key are placed below the display. When we compare the handling feel of these devices iPhone 5s is the winner. It provides an impressive handling and premium feel. Nokia Lumia 1020 is the runner up. Its poly carbonate uni body provides enough of a premium look and a good handling. LG G2 is delivering an impressive display but it fails to provide controls on the front hence spoils the look.Display overview
Apple iPhone 5s comes with the 4.0" Retina display with a resolution of 640x1136 pixels and 326 ppi pixel density. The display is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass just like the other two devices, but Apple provided and additional display protection named Oleo phobic coating for the iPhone 5s which lower the smudging of finger prints. And in sunlight iPhone 5s performs better than the other two smartphones. In sunlight Lumia 1020 and LG G2 performs the same but far behind the iPhone 5s. Although iPhone 5s is having these type of positive impressions, but it can be only placed last when comparing the display of other two devices. It is having a good screen with perfect image quality, but it is not complete when we talk about its density and other display specifications.
LG G2 has the highest display resolution as well as display size. It is having 5.2" IPS 1080 p screen with 424ppi pixel density. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. LG G2 scores second in the contrast but goals first in brightness. The G2's display is more sharper with the 424ppi pixel density and stands in front of Lumia 1020 in the color reproduction. In display LG G2 is the winner. Its brightest display with highest pixel resolution keeps this device much better than the other two.
When we dealing with Nokia Lumia 1020, it becomes the runner up in the display comparison. The AMOLED screen are the best which is available in the market. It is also equipped with pure motion HD and clear black technology. The 4.5" display provides a 720 pixel display resolution and 332ppi pixel density. Nokia Lumia 1020 is also provides a cool color profile app for the users that lets them to adjust the saturation and color as they wish.Battery & Its life
Apple iPhone 5s is powered by a 1,560 mAh Li-po battery, which looks like a drawback for this device. But the iOS and A7 are well know for battery optimization. So the small capacity will not be a big problem. iPhone 5s gives a talk time about 10 hours makes it better than Lumia 1020. But it comes on the third place when we deal with its endurance rating and standby.
LG G2 is the winner in the battery life. It is powered by 3,000 mAh Li-po battery, more powerful than the other two. It also provides a dedicating browsing experience and lasts more than 11 hours and gains the first.
Nokia Lumia 1020 is the runner up which is having a 2,000 mAh Li-Ion battery. The Windows 8's tight background management helps it for much greater battery standby. It is having a high video playback endurance where it goals against the others. It will stand up to 13 hours but iPhone 5s and LG G2 failed to do that.
