1)Cost of Installation: This is the charge taken by the companies at the time when new connection is taken. When a customer takes Reliance digital TV connection then he has pay no installation charges for it. But Sun Direct TV takes some extra charges for installation.
2)Plans Range: Service plans provided by these companies ranges from one month plan to twelve month plan (year plan). Thus, plans provided by the companies can be divided into two categories:
Short-Term Plan: Minimum plans are the short-term plans i.e. one month plan. Short-term plan of Reliance digital TV starts from Rs.132 with 102 channels, whereas the short-term plan of Sun Direct TV starts from Rs.123.
Long-Term Plan: Long-term plan of Reliance digital TV is of Rs.1366 with 102 channels. But the long term-plan of Sun Direct TV is of Rs.1596, this value pack is only for India and one month services are free.
3)Radio Facility and Special Pack Both, Sun Direct TV and Reliance digital TV provide this facility. Reliance digital TV provides 10 audio channels i.e. radio channels. Sun Direct TV and Reliance digital TV both provide this service to the south people. Sun Direct TV provides south pack with the classification of Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Telugu.
5)Latest Movies: Every customer wish to watch the latest movies, so such services are also provided to them. For such services they charge some nominal charges. Latest movies are shown to the customer on demand by taking some extra charges. This facility is provided by Reliance digital TV whereas Sun Direct TV does not provide any such service.
6)High Definition Box (HD): Reliance digital TV provides High Definition Box for Rs.2590 or Rs.2790 for free HD services for three months. Sun Direct TV takes Rs.2940 for High Definition Box with free service for two months (south pack) or Rs.3690 with free south channels services for six months and for non-south free service is just for five months.
