Beware of fake employment opportunities in the name of Tata Motors
Sine unemployment is a major problem being faced today in India, many fake employers have come into action. One such issue is found with Tata Motors. They are introducing themselves as HRDs of Tata Motors and asking job seekers to deposit Rs 9,500 as security deposit. So, be aware of such employers and stay away from them.
Beware of fake employment opportunities in the name of Tata Motors.
Till now I wrote articles on internet security, malware, spyware threats and hacking. In this article I'm going to share an experience with a fake Tata Motors employee who tried to charge 9500 INR from my friend. This is what my sister said;
"Two days earlier I received a mail from Tata motors suggesting me to attend an interview in Bangalore. I was asked to forward my particulars like College Identity, Passport size photographs, qualification certificates etc. Also, I was asked to deposit Rs 9,500/- in their Bank accounts as a security deposit which is refundable. Since the account details are not provided in their invitation letter I called them and asked for details. They asked me to deposit the whole amount in anyone of their bank accounts i.e. Canara Bank or PNB which they would reveal at the time of depositing. The Company offered me a salary with benefits for this post from Rs 44,000/- to Rs 1, 45,000/- P/month + (HRA + D.A + Conveyance and other Company benefits. The Designation and Job Location will be fixed by Company HRD at the time of final process. Also, they promised me to send two way Air tickets, arrange food and accommodation during the interview."How I came to know the scam
When I checked the mail, I came to know that it's from xxx@tatamotors.co.in and interesting thing is that there is no website with address "tatamotorslimited.co.in." Also when I visited the official website of Tata Motors I came across a shocking note which is attached below. So, this made me contact the customer service of Tata Motors and inform about what my sister has experienced. And I was informed that Tata motors don't charge even a single penny. Moreover, 'tatamotorslimited.co.in' is a domain registered under Tata group. With these details I helped my sister from falling prey to a fake Tata Motors employer. "Designation and Job Location will be fixed by Company HRD at the time of final process" this statement in their notification is enough to know that they are frauds. How can one attend an interview without having knowledge about the post he is applying for?
Now what I can say is its better not to completely trust or depend upon job portals like naukari, monster etc. It makes your email id open to such idiots and moreover you may even lose money for nothing. So, dear readers, if you are a job seeker and search online job portals daily, here is a suggestion for you. Don't trust any mail though it is from a multi-national company. Cross check the from address 2-3 times and know if it is genuine. Also, no high profile company asks you a pre-payment to apply for a job. So, it's up to your common sense to stay safe from fake employers. Below are the links to fake notices from those fake Tata employees. I hope this information helps you a lot.
