Enroll for the Aadhar card. If you have enrolled but not received but haven't still received or it is pending, download e-aadhar card which is much quicker.

Next, go to your nearest Axis Bank and submit two Xerox copies of your aadhar card and bank account.

Fill the Customer Request Form. Write your aadhar number, name, address, date of birth, bank account number and submit the form.

How to link Aadhar number with UCO Bank account?

UCO Bank is one of the oldest Indian banks. It has over 1900 branches. There are three ways to link your Aadhar number with UCO Bank account.

Method 1: Internet Banking

Write your 12 digit Aadhar card number in the form.

Click on 'Accept terms' and submit.

An Acknowledgement Receipt will display on your screen. Save it for future reference.

Method 2: SMS gateway

Type UCOAADHAR <12 digit Aadhaar number> <14 digit account number> and SMS it to 9231008888.

You will get an Acknowledgement Receipt SMS. Save it for future reference.

Method 3: Visit UCO Bank

Visit your nearest UCO branch. Submit Xerox copies of the account number, aadhar card and two passport size photographs.

Fill in the UCO Form, your name, account number, date of birth, address and submit it to the concerned authority.

How to link Aadhar number with Canara Bank account

Started in 1906, Canara Bank is one of the oldest Government banks. It has over 3700 branches in the country. Majority of its account holders belong to South India. It has always been a very reliable bank. Follow the steps given below to link your Aadhar number with Canara Bank account.

Visit your nearest Canara Bank branch with an original copy of the Aadhar card and a Xerox copy of the bank account number. The original card is required for verification purpose.

Fill the Canara Aadhar form with your name, address, date of birth and bank account details. Submit it to the concerned authority. Make sure that all the details are correctly written as a single mistake will cancel the linkage.

You need to visit an IDBI Bank with the following attested documents: One xerox copy each of Aadhar card, IDBI Bank passbook, POA & POI and two passport size photographs.

How to link Aadhar number with Bank of Baroda account?

As Bank of Baroda has over 4172 branches in India, it is one of the most widely spread Indian banks. It was started way back in 1908 by Maharaja of Baroda and H. H. Sir Sayajirao Gaekwad III. Follow the steps given below to link your Aadhar number with Bank of Baroda account.

Submit a copy of passbook, a Xerox as well as the original copy of Aadhar to a Bank of Baroda branch. Some branches are not asking for a passbook copy but to be on a safer side, carry it along. All the documents should be duly attested.

Fill the form with your bank account details and your Aadhar card will get linked with the account within one week.

How to link Aadhar number with Punjab National Bank account?

With around 5000 branches across 764 cities, Punjab National Bank is the third largest Indian bank. Over 37 million customers are associated with it.

Carry your original Aadhar card, its xerox a copy and copy of your passbook to your nearest PNB branch. Original Aadhar card is required only for verification. Submit them along with an application to the Bank Manager to link your Aadhar number to the bank account. All documents have to be duly attested.

Unlike in other banks, the account holder is not required to fill any form. The holder has to be present himself to submit the application. The process can't be carried out by a representative.

My Aadhaar has been linked in bank. It is also linked with LPG distributor. However, 'Aadhaar linked to Bank' shows red i.e. not linked, when I check the LPG distributor website. Bank says they are done from their side & distributor says pending from Bank side. Any solution?

Sir my Aadhar has been linked with my bank account. It is also linked with my LPG connection. However, Aadhar linked with bank is showing "red", whenever I checked it on LPG website. But, according to bank they have linked it with my account successfully. And distributor says it is pending from bank side. Any solutions tell me please, ASAP.

In the article "How to link Aadhaar with your bank account", it is clearly stated that a person can approach any branch of his bank in person with original Aadhaar Card and a xerox copy thereof and bank will do the rest. I'm a retired person having my pension account with Punjab National Bank, base branch Mall Road, Delhi but now settled in Dehradun. For availing LPG subsidy directly to my bank, I approached Punjab National Bank, Gujrara Mansingh branch, Sahastradhara Road, Dehradun to link my Aadhaar with my account but they refused to do so and told me to go all the way to my base branch Delhi for the purpose. Pl advice.
