"Google Play Games" app available on Play Store

Google Play Games has been officially launched on Play Store. This app is going to take Android gaming to a whole new level. By this app you can compare your gaming achievements with others, view what others are playing and much more.

When you open the app, you are asked to sign in to your Google+ account. Once you sign in, you are able to see a welcome screen which shows your current games, a players section showing people from your Google+ circles who are using this app, a "Featured Games" section and a "People You may Know" section from where the app suggests those persons which you might be knowing on Google+. Moreover the app features a menu button located in the upper left corner. When you click on that button, it brings a sliding menu offering you 6 different options to choose. Lets explore what those option are:

Play Now: Clicking on this takes you to the welcome screen that you see when you open the app.

My Games: Clicking on this option navigates you to another screen having 3 tabs. The first one is "All my Games" tab. This tab shows all the games you have played and all the apps you installed from Play Store. Second one is "Recently Played". The name of the tab reflects its usage. It shows the games you have recently played. Third one is "Installed" tab. This tab shows all the games that are installed on your Android phone.

My Activity: When you click on this option, the app shows a list of all the games have you played in recency and your last game play time. In simple words the option describes your gaming profile. It also shows your Google+ profile picture.

Players: This enables you to see your fellow players i.e. the persons in your Google+ circles who are playing games. This also suggests you the people you may know. You can directly add the suggested players to your Google+ circles from here.

Recommended: This option suggests you the games which you many give a try. These suggestions are based on the previous games you have played. The option also shows featured games, popular games and popular multi-player games.

Shop: Clicking on this option takes you to Google Play Store where you can install or purchase new games.

Overall, this app is a must-have-app for all Android gaming fans as it can greatly enhance their gaming experience. It also allows one to see leadership boards and achievements which he/she has achieved in a particular game. Further more, you can share your progress with others.
