Display: The tablet features a 13.3-inch display screen with the resolution of 3200 x 1800 pixels. This is the first Samsung tablet this year which has such giant display screen. The device looks too pretty from all angles.
Body and Design: Samsung has given this tablet a sliding body. The external keyboard is attached to the tablet and can be hid by just sliding it. This device measures 13.9 mm in thickness and it weighs 1290 grams. Hence, the device is quite heavy to lift. You can also use this device as a smartphone. Its dimensions are 327.0 x 217.8 x 13.9 mm.
Operating system and Processor: The tablet runs on an upgradable Android OS v4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) and Windows Phone 8 OS. For smooth computing, it is powered by Intel Core i5 processor and has 4 GB DDR3L RAM memory. The HD 4400 GPU provides great visual output through better graphics. Unlike the previous version of the ATIV tabs, this device doesn't come with the Windows RT OS version. In this tablet, you can reboot and switch any one of the operating systems. Users can easily transfer their files and applications between the two OS platforms. It lacks dual SIM technology will not be wrong to say that the Samsung ATIV Q is the only device with almost all technology features.
Memory and storage: The device comes with an internal memory of 128 GB. We know that it is difficult to believe that any device can have such high storage capacity but it's totally true. You will not need any MicroSD card to expand its storage capacity.
Camera: The tablet comes with only 1.0 MP primary camera which can take pictures with high resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Hence, the camera feature may disappoint the buyers. The 1 MP HD front camera in this device can be used as a webcam.
Connectivity: The ATIV Q tablet has very less connectivity features. It has USB Port 2.0 and HDMI Port but lacks other features like Infrared, A2DP and Wi-Fi. The absence of Wi-Fi connectivity is a big drawback in this tablet which may disappoint many youngsters. 3G connection can be established via dongle.
Battery: The device houses a 5000 mAh non-removable battery. This is a powerful non-removable Li-Ion battery. It gives a talk-time of up to 20 hours for 2G connectivity and up to 10 hours for 3G connectivity. The standby time is 520 hours.
