BSNL WiMax: tariff, plans, prepaid/postpaid pricing and details

Are you looking for details of BSNL WiMax internet services? Read this article to find various plans offered by BSNL and their tariff, prepaid and post paid plans, drawbacks and advantages of the WiMax.

BSNL was the first company to introduce internet services through WiMax technology in India. During the initial days, WiMax internet connection was very expensive and most people were afraid to try this new technology due to the high price and process involved in getting the connection.

BSNL should be appreciated for their recent efforts to bring WiMax closer to the people. As of now, WiMax does not cost you any initial connection charges other than Rs 1000 refundable deposit for the WiMax device (CPE - Consumer Premise Equipment) and your one month rental as advance.

WiMax Plans and Tariff

BSNL offers several different plans for WiMax wireless internet. Many times I have seen that if you walk into a BSNL office, you will get more options than what is displayed in their website. So, be sure to call your local BSNL office or visit the local telephone exchange to find the best deals in your area. The plans listed here are based on the information I gathered directly from their office and also from their website, which are subject to change. I will keep this page updated as much as possible, but please alert me by posting a response below, if you find a better deal or variance in price.
