SONY, the Japanese electronics giant is here with her new Xperia-Tablet Z to gain new shares in market. Her new Android powered tablet is a companion device to smart phone Xperia Z. It is first released in Barcelona, Spain during World Mobile Congress looks promising at its first look. As always, Sony maintained her stunning finish to this tablet. Instead of thick edge in the top portion of backside in Xperia S, Sony adopted a flat and light style in Xperia Z. Xperia Tablet-Z is currently the thinnest 10.1 inch tablet with 6.9mm thickness. It is even flatter than 7.9 inch I pad mini. It is round edged and weighs about 500 grams. Sony refers to its design as "OmniBalance" with the "distinctive" silver power button, which is the only "dash of color" on the device. Features and Specifications

Sony Xperia Z is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064A quad core processor with a clock speed of 1.5GHz. It's accompanied by Adreno 320 graphics. The Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064A is a high-end SoC for Android smart phones and tablets, which was introduced in 2012. This 28nm fabricated chip is based on the ARMv7-compatible, but by Qualcomm designed Krait architecture, performs quite faster than Nvidia's Tegra 3 or the Exynos 4412 from SamsungDisplay:
It has a 10.1 inch Multitouch Capacitive "HD Reality Display" powered by Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 (16:10 ratio, 1920 x 1200 pixels (~224 ppi pixel density)). Camera:
Tablet Z has two cameras. Rear one with 8MP and front one with 2 MP, both capable of video recording in Full HD. Special sensors called Sony Exmor RS, situated in camera is supposed to improve the device's light output considerably according to the manufacturer. Sony uses these special CMOS sensors in tablets for the first time. It consist of features of a digital camera like Auto-focus with face and smile recognition, HDR mode, burst mode with 10 pictures per second, self-timer, image stabilizer, and scene detection. The volume rocker serves as the zoom button. Overdoing the digital zoom quickly deteriorates the picture quality. The sensor's light output is very high, but in diffused light conditions image gets little nasty. There is a slight red cast over the images. But all things considered, the video quality is respectable.Additional features
