Meeting Place for Outlook helps users to schedule and attend the meetings by using the Outlook client. They can receive e-mail invitations for the meetings or trainings for which they have been scheduled or invited. Users will have a choice to accept or decline a meeting or training invitation and schedule will automatically appear in Outlook calendar for user to accept or reject.
There is an Add-In of Meeting Place which has to be installed in user's computer and then configure it with Outlook in order to make it work in coordination with the meetings scheduled or invites received in outlook. Once the add in is mapped to outlook, there would be a tab called MeetingPlace for Outlook or Cisco MeetingPlace shown up as an option in outlook. User can just click on it and start scheduling meetings on MP platform and send invites via outlook.
This scenario is considered to be quite interesting as it's the combination of two different products like Outlook by Microsoft and MP by Cisco. This feature is used widely in corporate environment where there has to be a remote coordination of work between employees operating from all the locations across the globe.

How to fix when a user gets an error "you do not have sufficient privileges" in shared calendar
Please use the following steps if you don't the meeting place tab in Outlook.
Method 1 – Check if Meeting Place software is installed and its Add-in is enabled
Step 1 – We need to check first if Meeting Place software is already installed in user's computer.
Step 2 – Click on Start
Step 3 – Click on Settings
Step 4 – Control Panel
Step 5 – Click on Add or Remove programs
Step 6 – You would find the list of softwares installed in the machine and also would find Cisco Meeting Place listed as one of them
Step 7 – If it's installed, please enable the Meeting Place Add in.
Step 8 – Open Outlook
Step 9 - Click on Help
Step 10 – Click on About Microsoft Office Outlook.
Step 11 - A new window opens, Click on Disabled Items option
Step 13 - Select outlook.dll and click on Enable.
Step 14 – Go to Tools
Step 15 – Click on Options
Step 16 – Click on Other
Step 17 – Click on Advanced Options
Step 18 – Click on Add-in Manager
Step 19 - Make sure you have the Meeting Place for Outlook option Checked.
Step 20 – Close and re-open Outlook, it must show up.
If it does not show up, please follow method 2.
Method 2 – Meeting Place Account Configuration in Outlook
Step 1 – Open Outlook
Step 2 – Click on Tools
Step 3 - Click on Options
Step 4 – Click on Meeting Place Tab
Step 5 – Click on Edit
Step 6 – Type user's Meeting Place ID and password
Step 7 - In the Server URL field enter http://domain namemeetingplace.cgi-bin
Step 8 – Click on OK
Step 9 - Close and Re-open Outlook you would now see the Meeting Place Tab.
Note: If you don't find Meeting Place software installed in your machine, please install it if you have admin rights by getting the set up from your company packages or contact Technical help desk for assistance.
