The Iconia W510 is the latest tablet from Acer which runs on full fledged Windows 8 OS. One of the key features of this tablet is the key board dock which can turn the tablet into a note book PC.
The Acer Iconia W510 has a 10.1 inches Active matrix TFT color LCD touch screen
with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. The device is powered by a dual-core four thread Intel Atom Z2760 processor with a clock speed of 1.5 GHz. There is a 2 GB of RAM in the tablet. The tablet comes in two versions for internal storage - 32 GB and 64 GB. The tablet runs on Windows 8 operating system.
The tablet has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth features. The Acer Iconia W510 has dual cameras. There is a 8 Mega Pixel rear camera with flash as well as front facing camera for video chats and the device has a microphone.
You can find the docking port and latch connectors at the bottom of the tablet. There are two stereo speakers on the left and right of the tablet which provide high quality sound. There is a headphone jack and the power button on the top edge. The tablet comes with an internal battery of 3540 mAh capacity. This provides around 8 hours of operation for internet browsing. This figure becomes doubled when you go for the keyboard dock which also has a built in battery.
The Acer Iconia W510 tablet is now available in India for a price of around Rs.36,000 for the 32 GB version and at Rs. 52000 price for the 64 GB version.
