 The Launch
This October 2016 Blackberry has released its DTEK60 Android 6.0.1 smartphone model after years of running its own BB OS. Let's see if the phone could maintain the same craze as Blackberry used to enjoy for a quite a long time in the smartphone industry.
The Look and Display
The phone is having a moderately big 5.50 inches display of 1440x2560 pixels that maintains a 534 PPI within a dimension of 153.90 x 75.40 x 7.00mm weighing about 165gm. The phone doesn't come in any other colour variation but in Black which is being typical of Blackberry.
The Hardware and Battery
To bring about an outstanding performance the Processor they have used for it is that of a 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 one. To match the level, they have made room for 4GB of RAM 32GB of Internal storage, that too with the option of an Expandable storage through a microSD card soaring up to 2000 GB, which is undoubtedly huge.
They maintained the same high in the non-removable Battery which is of 3000 mAh capacity giving a more than satisfactory talk time as well as the stand by.
The Camera
The DTEK60 Blackberry can top the list of excellent camera phones as the phone has a 21-megapixel
Rear camera and an 8-megapixel Front camera with Flash.
The Connectivity
The DTEK60 model is maintaining all the standards of Connectivity featuring 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac standard Wi-Fi, GPS, v 4.20 Bluetooth, NFC, USB OTG, 3.5mm Headphones. But it doesn't have
Infrared and FM. It is a single SIM phone with a Micro-SIM of either GSM or CDMA types.
The phone supports 3G, 4G/ LTE including 4G India (Band 40).
The Sensors
The phone has increased its productivity and functionality by adding up a full range of sensors that include Compass/ Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, Gyroscope and Fingerprint sensor. In this model you do not get Barometer or Temperature sensor though.

The phone is priced at Rs. 63,900.
