HTC has launched a new affordable smartphone - HTC Desire 326G for the budget conscious audience. The new HTC Desire 326G sports a 4.5 inches display which is quite vibrant and sharp. The display features an approximately 58% screen to body ratio. While the ratio is not much promising but HTC has intelligently molded the device to look premium despite of a low screen to body ratio. HTC Desire 326G sports a classy and sturdy look, made from the strong polycarbonate material. The smartphone features an 8 MP rear camera with auto-focus and single LED flash. The front end features a 2 MP camera, capable of recording 720p HD videos.
HTC Desire 326G runs on the 1.2 GHz Quad-core processor which gets all its juice from the Spreadtrum SC7731G chipset. The smartphone comes embedded with a 1 GB RAM and is quite responsive. There is no heating issues but the smartphone is not meant for high-end gaming. It comes with an 8 GB internal memory which can be expanded via an external microSD card of upto 32 GB.
