With a huge pile of premium hardware specs which Yureka offers, it has always been in the news from the day of its launch. Micromax has really come a step ahead from all the major competitors by launching its sub-brand YU. With the successful Yureka flash sales where it went out of stock in mere 3 or 4 seconds, Micromax has taken down several tech giants including Samsung and Xiaomi to claim itself as the leading smartphone brand of India. But there are flaws which you should consider before buying this smartphone. Let's roll onto our brief review to get a clear view of the device.
Micromax Yu Yureka features a 5 inches screen which comes protected with corning Gorilla glass 3 and Oleophobic coating. The screen is not much crispy and vivid due to its low pixel counts. I found Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G's screen to be much better than the Yureka's. However, in terms of performance, the device is a beast in its category and does not hangs even a bit while playing any heavy games, thanks to its 1.5 GHz Octa-core processor which comes paired up with 2 GB RAM. But do remember, the device gets overheated when using it extensively with graphic thirsty games. While this is not so with Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G. But considering these hardware specs, it is a steal for such a low price tag. Moreover, its 13 MP and 8 MP shooters are well equipped to take crispy shots. But the shots sometimes give you some extra brightness, which is somewhat annoying.
Although Micromax Yureka and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G are close competitors, I would say Yureka wins the battle in terms of processor and the huge internal storage which comes with this device.
