How to remove UDS: Dangerous object.Multi.Generic malware?

Hello friends, I am using Kaspersky Internet Security 2012, Licence version but some how I got malware in my PC. Antivirus messages, UDS: Dangerous Objct.Multi.Generic and location is C:/Windows/System32/Userinit.exe

Kaspersky is not able to remove/quarantine but it just ignores it. Can you tell me how risky this malware is and How to remove it whether it is more dangerous or not. Just tell me the step by step procedure.

Hi Paresh,
Which operation system you're using?? It looks like a trojan horse but as C:/Windows/System32/Userinit.exe is a system file you shouldn't delete it but what I suggest you is I've attached the Userinit.exe file taken from Windows 7 you can try replacing it with the existing one then leme know if you get any further error or somethin....

Dear friend kaspersky is the software (antivirus) which has hit the antivirus market. But my suggetion is that using kaspersky antivirus is better than anyother software but it will prevent the usage of some user defined software. I recomment you to install avast antivirus and thereby scan the recomended folder or drive and delete the software. Otherwise inaddition to kaspersky antivirus install trogan remover.exe which is available in internet try to install and remove all the harmfull malwares.

Dear friends,
I checked all the antiviruses. But kaspersky is not good. It makes our internet slowly. Because it updated our datas in the PC to their server for security and backup. I think Avast and Avg are best antiviruses. This is my personal review. So you can try with your favourite antivirus.

Thanks all for your response. @Vivek, Is there any harm in replacing the userinit.exe file ? My PC has XP as operating system and as per your suggestion, If I delete this file, how my PC will work safely? I think Userinit.exe is file for restarting the computer, right? What is your opinion in this matter?

There is no harm in 'replacing' userinit.exe file but do not delete this file even by mistake otherwise you will not be able to login to your account after reboot! As this file is used by Windows while a user logs on. What you can do is arrange userinit.exe file from any PC running same version of XP as of yours; copy that to your infected PC's Desktop then delete this file from System32 folder and then paste the same file from your Desktop to System32 folder..do not log off or reboot your PC until you copy the new userinit.exe file....tell me if you get any other error..
Also, before doing this you can make a system restore point in case something goes wrong..
