Hi,
Click the Customize and Control chrome which is available in the top right control and the icon will look like a spanner and then select the Options will open a new window and in the new window select Under the hood tab and then scroll down a little bit where you can see the download location, select the browse button and then you can change the default download location.
Let me know if you unable to change the location in Google chrome.

Chrome is the best browser. There are options available for changing the chrome download location. I think the above response will give answer to your question as well.
