In Inverter AC its compressor get auto cut off or stopped ?

Dear forum member
I have two LG brand split ac 1.5 T & 1 T.
Its getting auto cut off while kept in normal mode.
My question is as per inverter technology it should get auto cut off when it is set to desire temp ?
Mean its compressor should stop working?
This happening in my case.
Waiting for correct reply.

Auto cut off is expected in latest Air conditioners when the room temperature reaches the desired temperature. It is a power saving feature in these machines.
