Member of the Week Award 2nd to 8th Jan 2017

    Hi Techies,

With reference to our earlier announcement for Member of the Week and our usual awarding system in Techulator, we are announcing the winner of the MOW for 2nd to 8th Jan 2017, this week award goes to Timmappa Kamat for an outstanding contribution.

Congratulations to Timmappa Kamat for MOW awards and best of luck members for the next time!.

Thanks to all members and participants.

Glad to be winning that award yet another time. I agree that this has been paying monetary dividends, but I do not find it to be exciting to win those awards. We just need to do something for getting new members - and active ones - on board so that the competition gets tougher.
Nevertheless, it gives me great pleasure. Thanks Hafeez.

It is really happy to see the announcement by hafeez for the MOW award. It's again Timmappa being the winner for the week. As Timmappa said, it is not so excited to see the same name in the winners list often. New members need to be active in this site. We need to make them to be active in our site. That only creates opportunity for the other members to be in the winners list.

I feel like to suggest one thing over here. The MOW and MOM awards were being comparative of all the three sections like Articles, Forum and Ask Expert Sections. Few members were more active in article section and few other members were so active in Forum and AES section except Article section. So the webmasters can think about considering Forum and AES section alone for selecting winner for MOW awards. This could be helpful to create new winners name listed in this type of awards. Surely most members would be participated more in our site. Atleast for some period of time this suggestion should takes place in TEC to make more people active.

Thank you Bharath for that message. But, your suggestion would not be practical as it would lead to some sort of partiality towards the AE and forum contributions. Member of the week and member of the month awards are meant to felicitate the overall contributions of a member. From that point of view, it may not be feasible to leave out the resources section. On the other hand, why won't our members attempt their expertise in the articles section?
It isn't a tough task. I had no prior experience article writing. I just tried a couple of them in the beginning and it clicked. Moreover, our editors do support new writers through suggestions. Mt advise to new members would be to cultivate the habit of creating a good content.

Congratulations Timmappa for winning the MOW award once again. It was indeed a good key start on the first week of the New Year. It feels good to see you back on your usual pace keeping the site active and running when there is a dearth of contribution from every other member including myself.
At my end it was simply because of a hectic traveling schedule. Don't know about others though.
@Bharath..I appreciate your suggestion and involvement. Even I have suggested a few changes, which I hope Tony Sir and Webmaster would consider. At the same time we could see your positive contribution in this site these days which is really worth of appreciation, We hope to see your name coming up in the article section too.
Wishing all the best to Timmappa once again for maintaining his dedication for this site and inspiring every other member consistently.

Thank you Anwesha for those inspiring words. I am glad to be contributing enough on the site and helping it stay active. Techulator has a special place in my key things in my life. It was the site that initiated me into the concept of content writing and I have benefited a lot from what I learnt from the site. The site was instrumental in letting me taste whatever little success I have been able to achieve in the content writing arena. What else shall I say, I have put what I have learnt here to some good use and have been able to earn around Rs. 6 to 7000 from my content writing assignments per month ( including the earnings from Techulator itself).
And that is precisely why I come back to the site even with my heavy schedule. There are times when I keep my other assignments aside and work on the site as a primary concern.

@Timmappa. It is not about partiality with concern to AES and Forum section. Not every users get into directly creating good article. There will be some learners. Contribution should have some more encouraging that the existence. If there is possible to make a selection towards AES and Forum section, there will be more traffic from this section. And article section is not least. It has high priority. MOM awards would be helpful for indicating the member in a great level by his or her achievement throughout the whole month. I'm trying to get back in article section. But due to my tough timing schedule I couldn't concentrate on the article section. I'm planning to get back my name presenting in that section. Hope soon I will enter into it.

@Anwesha. I'm getting hope from your words. This will help me to participate more in the Article section.
