Travel package websites or app prices reasonable or expensive?

I was checking some of the travel package websites. Some of them have included the cost of guided tour in them. And some of them were just booking system. So you get to either book the guided tour or the hotel booking from their system. The prices were different even for the same place among websites.

Facebook and other social media websites are full of the offers and ads on them. I am not sure how many of them are legit or have genuine data. Some of them could not be even safe.

So I have this question, are these travel package websites and app reasonable or they are overpriced? Do people use them to travel in another state or specific city?
