Please note that the product section has been reviewed from time to time. I have observed that the section has been reviewed after your latest request for reviewing the same. I can't exactly share the exact reason for why your contribution to the section have not been reviewed.
Let me bring it to the attention of the team and let us see what they can do for it.
Also note that editors have been given duties with regard to particular sections and they cannot have a say in the sections that they do not have access to. So, instead of blaming it on editors, I would request you to communicate with webmasters if you have any concern.

I have a doubt here and am asking it just to know about it. As far as what I know and the awards in techulator, does any of the awards has a connection with product reviews?
Just curious about it, I just know about Ask experts, Discussion forums, Resource section and all the awards are based on this sections.
Product reviews section needs special access I guess and only given to some people. I don't if this crct to post a question inside a question.
Please clear my doubts and also if necessary I will create other thread for this. Let me know

The awards you have been talking about are the super contributor awards for each section. What the member has been asking about are the Member of the week and Member of the Month awards. Those two are based on the best performance during that particular week, or month. So it goes without saying that all your (approved) points from all of your contributions are taken into account while arriving at the winner of the award.

Aman, note that in this thread of yours an editor did reply and you have even acknowledged it in a response there. So it is incorrect to say that it was ignored. Secondly, as you are aware & as has been mentioned, there are very limited number of editors on the team and it is tough for an editor to manage multiple sections. Thirdly, awards cannot be held back on the ground of non-review of posts. The Webmasters cannot indefinitely delay announcements of awards.
It is understandable that you are frustrated at not having your posts in the products section reviewed quickly. However, note that awards are not solely based on points alone. Quality content is more important.
And yes - editors are very much helping out members. We appreciate everyone's contributions and do take time out to encourage and guide, not to mention bring issues raised in the forum to the attention of the Webmasters as was done in your case. It is just possible that the Webmasters may not get time to deal with an issue right away due to more urgent tasks.

Yes Pranay, contributions across all sections are taken into account when considering eligible members for the Member of the Week and Member of the Month awards. The points a member gets for the contributions are tallied. Then quality is checked too and accordingly the winners are announced.

@Pranay, please note that it is not only the points that are considered for arriving at the winning member for deciding the Member of the Week and Member of the Month awards. The points of the highly placed members are first taken into account to decide on a list of possible winners and then based on the quality of contribution in each section, the winner is declared. Thus the decision remains to be both quantitative and qualitative.

So, when coming to a member of the week and month award, only selected persons can get that. Like only a few of them have access to product reviews and only those are eligible for this two awards, because others can't write there and this awards need constant contribution from all sections, so those two awards are only for them ?

Not necessarily. There are members who have no access to product section, but can get the MOW and MOM awards. I, for one have won a number of such awards in spite of not having access to the section. It was only recently that I requested access for the section and got it though I am not much active on the section.
The major concern by the member here is he has a lot of contribution from the section, but his posts are not reviewed. He has been thinking that he has lost out of the awards because of his content not being reviewed.

@Aman , as I pointed out to you in my earlier response to your thread, all the editors are NOT entrusted with the responsibility of all the sections. We have been assigned to specific sections, and there remains to be a limit to what we can do. Even in case of your previous thread on this issue, I had brought this query to the attention of the team, and webmasters as Vandana mentioned in her above response. This time too, it has again been referred to the team. Does it not speak of the fact that your thread, and requests have not been ignored? In fact, Product section not being managed by the regular editors, and the maximum they can help out is by letting the webmasters know about the complaints raised by members in connection with the section.
Now that it has been done, I do not think there is any need to blame it on the editors. Please wait for a couple of days and hopefully webmasters may come up with an explanation.
Till then, please refrain from blaming it on the editors.
