    How to use an Apple Watch without an iPhone - is the contest really beneficial?

    Earlier, there was the offer from lockerdome to win an Apple TV. It seems that was not meant for global participants and those of us from India who are primary contributors are not eligible to win. It was such a waste of time.

    Now comes another offer from the same third party, namely to win an Apple Watch. Is this really a genuine offer in the sense that doesn't one need an Apple iPhone to be in sync wit the watch in order to use the latter effectively? If most of the watch's features can be used only if you have an iPhone, what on earth is its utility? Who can afford an iPhone in the first place?

    What do TECians think? Isn't it yet another waste of time participating in this promotional gimmick?!
