Two account from same IP. Is it possible?

    Hello,
Me and my friend share same room in hostel. I told him about the contest going on in Techulator and he was much anticipated to join this site. My question here is that can he create his account from my laptop and use Techulator from the same. If not, can he just register from some other source and work with my computer.
I am much aware of the fact that this question should have been asked in Ask Expert but I want quick reply from active members. Some of the contests are going to end soon. Please help me out in this case. Thank you people in advance.

It is usually allowed to create multiple accounts from the same ip address since many colleges, schools, companies etc have a single ip address and everyone from the same institute have the same ip address.

If you and you room mate are using the site separately, there is absolutely no problem. But make sure you are not creating a fake ID for yourself. We have a couple of members who play with the same by creating fake profiles for themselves and act like they are different people. It is pretty easy to identify such profiles from the writing style, language etc.

A warm welcome for your friend to Techulator.

    Well, Vikas Srivastava,
I guess this is what makes the other members confused regarding me. Me and one of my friend uses different IDs but on my computer as he lives with me and he don't have any computer or laptop. And I guess by this the editors and webmaster is confused regarding me. But I say again that I only use my genuine ID of AMAN. This is my only and only ID of Techulator. But as per the response of Tony sir you can allow your friend to create a ID on Techulator and use it on your system. But I don't know what will the editors and webmaster think regarding you after that. All I can share was my experience regarding this. And I am very sad by getting my ID of Techulator into a wrong thinking of the webmaster. I hope God will make him realize one day. All I do now is just working hard and not considering the other wrong thinking of the members.

    Regards,
    Aman

I find that the harder I work, the more luck I seem to have.

I am thankful to Tony Sir and respected Editor for quick reply. It is obvious that if you find same style in writing then disable the other account. But we both have totally different writing style.
    Aman,
I am not aware of the fact in your case but one thing on which I disagree with you is that two close friend to have same writing style. One of my friend with whom I studied since childhood have totally different way of presenting things while mine is different.

Exactly, Vijay- that's right. No two people can have the same writing style and language no matter whether they have studied from the same institution or from same teacher. Language and writing style are some thing you developed over time and continued efforts (though subconscious).
Your friend can go forward to create his account from your PC or laptop. As long as it is not a multiple ID, there would be no issues.

You both have not understood what I mean to say. I was trying to say that if any of your friend who have been studying with you since childhood then you and your friend might have a close writing style as per the fact that your upbringing have been done equally and same. I was not exactly saying the same what you mentioned Timmappa Kamat. And also if you both work on Techulator and discuss about it with each other then there are most of the chances that you both will love to contribute in the same section. And also as if you will guide the other one so he will straight away follow the commands told by you like a small kid who learns anything what is taught and follow it like anything. But the rest is up to you, as per the response of Tony sir you can create the Two IDs with the same IP address.
