That's because the top 3 list you viewed a couple of hours ago was the data as on 8th August. Now its showing data till 9th August. Which means your points during this period i. e from 3rd to 9th is less. Please note that you don't come even under top 10 for this period. So it should mean that you have not scored much points during this period. You were among top 3 was because your points were more during the previous period. In tomorrow's point table, the points will again change. Hope you understand the exact calculation.

A couple of articles by Juana were approved over the last few days. And that's the reason she surpassed your tally as on today. It does not mean you have lost your points. You can visit your profile and find out how many points you have earned over the specific time period.
By the way, an article by Juana was approved today and that's the reason for the change.

Joy,
It does not matter if you were in the top 3 half an hour earlier, an hour earlier or for a few seconds. As editors review posts in various sections, there are bound to be changes every now and then. Points will go up and down of every member so you need to check via the scoreboard of a member, including your own, for fluctuations in the points. You can select the calendar dates to see how the points changed within a day or a couple of days or the week.
Regards,
Vandana

Exactly. If you stay away from the site for a couple of days, your position is bound to change. Review of content is a continuous process and the points difference will keep on changing even at a smaller intervals.
