    Hi Brajamohan,

If you had deleted some files then you can restore it from the recycle bin in the desktop. What the problem in that ?

    Hi Brajmohan,
Even if you had a restore point, it would not have restored your deleted files. Restore points are used to restore your registry settings and not your files or installed softwares.

To recover your deleted files, you can use recovery softwares like Test Disk, Undelete etc. You can google for such softwares. Also do not try much activities on your system because chances are that your deleted files will be overwritten.

When files are deleted they exist in the memory and can be recovered using appropriate softwares. And at times these memory can be overwritten for some activity you are performing on your system.

    Hi Brajamohan panda,

Definitely there are solution for your problem. There are many recovery softwares that are available to recover the file that you have deleted. The recovery software is more efficient that you can recover the whole partition back if you delete or format it. According to me active file recovery is the best software in recovering the files. If you want to recover the whole partition which is formatted or deleted then you can go for Active Partition recovery.

There are also many other softwares that are available online to recover the deleted file of yours.

    Hi Brajamohan panda ,

You said that you deleted excel file and you cannot locate that file in the Recycle bin.
If you Delete the file by the method of SHIFT +Delete means, that file will be permanently deleted and will not be stored in the Recycle bin.

Now you need File rescue software to rescue that file. But it's also possible that you would not make any changes in that folder you deleted the file (That is you deleted the file in the desktop means, you should not create or store the files or folders in that desktop).

If you don't make any changes means ,you can rescue the file easily.
Try to find the software "Recuva" in Google search and download that file.

If you want detail i will post detail in the resource section.

    hello,

It is the best feature provided by the window according to which if you have deleted any file or the folder then it is recovered by using the tool provided in the window.

The recycle bin is the tool which is used to restore the data deleted by mistake by using the following steps right click on the file or the folder which you wan to restore and click on the option restore provided on the pop up menu and then press OK.

It will restore your file to areas from where you have previously deleted that file.

    BrajMohan,

If you have deleted the file accidentally, it may be in recycle bin.
If it is in recycle bin, you can recover it easily by checking if it is there in recycle bin. Even if you have emptied your recycle bin, then also it is possible to recover the deleted file using Backup if you are using Windows 7 or you can even try to restore it from a previous version. The previous versions are the files that Windows 7 automatically stores as a part of restore point. For more details on how to recover the deleted file, Click here to see my article on the topic.
