    Irrelevant Answer in the AE section


    Ask Expert



    I would like to highlight a answer posted by Mr. Timmappa Kamat in the Ask Expert section as I think it as an irrelevant answer. The member has asked about the best companies for buying a trimmer and how trimmer gives better experience compared to the manual shaving at home but Mr. Timmappa Kamat has unnecessarily added the features of some product and then answer is made lengthy. I think it as an irrelevant answer so I would like to highlight this so the editors will remember while checking or reviewing the answers. The surprising thing about this is that it is done by Mr. Timmappa Kamat, who is one of the shinning star of TEC, the 6th rank member of TEC and even a editor of the Ask Expert section. And not only this time, I found the same mistake once before which was already reviewed by the editors of the Ask Expert section buy that time I only told Timmappa about his mistake and also requested him not to do so again. But now the same mistake is repeated and I hope that the editors will take care of it this time. The link to that answer is given below so I hope the editors of the Ask Expert section will pay their kind attention to this thread.

    If one properly reads between the lines instead of going by words,it would be clear what the question wants to know. "Which companies trimmer have got better reviews" - it is clear from the words that he wants a better trimmer. Can anyone accept just the companies names like Philips, Panasonic etc? Will it make any sense? In any case, thanks for pointing it out. Let me wait for editors to take a decision on the issue.
    I request you to make it a point to send a private message to editors -any of them- about this kind queries. We have been asked to abide by this before by Vandana.

    "Which companies trimmer have got better reviews" means the companies which sells better trimmer and have better reviews. Company name makes much sense about the product. But I would not like to fight for such an small issue so let us wait for the editors decision.

    The last time this "mistake" was committed by me as you reported it, was treated by the editors as correct response. So, I hope I can maintain that it was not a mistake on my part.
    I can clearly understand why you have been doing this right now. I would only wish to let you know that having a "Tit for Tat" attitude never pays. As long as I believe in myself, I do not think I need to be in any dilemma about my doings.

    Update -
    I, myself, have brought this thread to the attention of the team. Let me wait to see what would they decide.

    As the response has been reviewed and rewarded the way it has been, I hope your objection has been suitably answered. I would request you to concentrate more on making your contributions worthwhile rather than finding non existent faults with the content from other members. Instead of showing a tit for tat attitude, I would wish to see you coming up with the similar zeal in becoming a worthy contributor.

    This is what is called arrogance and immature behaviour. And the kind of attitude clearly shows the level of jealousy you have for other members.
    You have always been egoistic and nothing more than that.
    I would just say your content has always missed the originality or genuineness that they actually deserve. It's pity to be associated with you.
    (Let me make it clear to the team that this response of mine is not as an editor, but as a normal member. I am fed up with tee way he has targeting me. Let him take on me by matching the level of my contribution rather than trying these back door tricks).

    I would not like to match the level of your contribution. I am not jealous for any member, I just wrote what is truth. And your response clearly tells or highlights who is jealous. You have always been fighting with me and I am fed up this time so I accept all your words to make you happy like a kid. You have always been fighting with me for small issues that clearly shows who is targeting whom. I would like to request to the Forum editors to please close this thread before Mr. Timmappa Kamat fights for any other fake issue.

    Actually, you yourself posted two responses (#21355 and #21389) in a row in this thead. And now you are saying don't post two responses in a row. You should have updated your existing response instead of posting new one.

    By the way, response no. #21348 and #21352 are completely identical.

    Aman, I never post two responses in a row in the forum (or in any section for that matter). What has happened above is a technical glitch as you can see that both responses are completely similar. It was double posted due to technical error as everyone on TEC has experienced at least once. It would have been clear to you if you had taken pains to read the responses with an open eye. IT IS NOT AN ADDITIONAL RESPONSE.
    I noticed the double post just now and am setting the points to zero for second post.

    UPDATE - I have sent you a private message in response to "I would not like to accept your request so it will be better to keep it with you. And I still think it as an irrelevant answer so I would like to request the Forum editors to please close this thread as it is of no use now." comment. Hope good sense prevails at least now.
