Regarding an Ask Expert question of mine

    Webmasters,
Yesterday I accidentally moved this Expert question of mine to the forum. It was gaining great traffic. Below is the statcounter screen shot of the traffic statistics of this question. I was gaining 100 visits per day and the total visits where 694. But when it was moved back to expert section. It is not catching any traffic and statistics are showing zero visits. Did the previous statistics then go waste? Please clarify!

Same problem! I am not able to attach any file to the forum response

When URL (word) changes then obviously re-crawling, re-storing and re-indexing too taking place that's why it will take few more hours or days to get back to normal traffic / status on such changes. It is also depend on 'trending' duration effect.

This is not only for particular URL changes, even if domain name changes then that too effect the same for a long period.

Yes, it happens because the URL of your question was changed. But you need to worry about it as if the question was getting good traffic before so it will get good traffic even now.

I find that the harder I work, the more luck I seem to have.

Bad luck, Mehdi Bro - because it will definitely affect your earning - both from AdSense and info links. Let us just hope that it will regain the similar kind of traffic soon. What matters most is the topic should continue to be a trending one.
Have you checked it now ?

Yes, it will surely effect a bit on your infolinks earning but as per my thinking if it was gaining more and more traffic before than you need not to worry about it now. It will require some time to get the same traffic but it will get.
