What is the process or procedure to be an editor

I would like to know the complete details about the editor's selection. I want to be an editor of Ask Expert section so I would like to know that whether I am capable to be an editor of Ask Expert section if not than what should I do be that. I worked or contributed a lot in that section in very few days and I was also selected for the first post of Super contributed awards for ask expert section of December, 2014 and even now I am at the 1st rank in that section from last 30 days. Respected Tony sir is requested to inform me if I am capable to be an editor of Ask Expert section.
