Yes You are right , When I visited given URL link I have seen without any points for forum responses . It decrease our confidence of sharing content in forum section.

Points are given automatically in Forum. I think what you have done is first make a very small response and then you edited it to make it longer. On editing a response points are not allotted again. We are giving the points this time but be careful from next time onwards.
