How to associate my Infolinks account only for the contests and not in general?

At last I got my Infolinks account integrated with TEC, but now I am a bit confused about how to associate it only in the contest entries and not in the general ones, as that is the rule here.
I have seen the shortcut feature, but couldn't get a clear idea of what has to be done exactly.
I hope friends here will help me out.

You do seem to be confused! Actually it is not the Infolinks account but affiliate program links which a member can place within contest entries. That is, suppose you have signed up for the Amazon India affiliate program. Then for a contest entry you can give a link within the text of your article, using the shortcut URL.

If, other than for contest entries, you wish to give the affiliate links, then you will need to open a separate account with a different email ID. For those articles though, you will not get cash credits and will not get any AdSense earnings since the admin. is allowing you to earn through the affiliate links.

Thanks Vandana Maam, but in the contests it is clearly stated that we CAN associate our infolinks account:
Here is how it is stated:

Rewards for participating in the Vivo X5Max contest

1. Every approved article will be paid cash rewards as we always do.

2. You can associate your AdSense account and get AdSense earnings from all of your articles in this site.

3. You can associate your Infolinks account and earn through Infolinks.

What it means is that when you associate your Infolinks account here at Techulator.com, you will start earning from your posts at this site. This includes entries for articles contests. For earnings from Infolinks ads you do not need to use the shortcut URLs - that feature is only for inserting affiliate links.

So what you have read is a general mention that earning through Infolinks ads is one of the benefits because, to put it simply, when you write, you can earn through the ads appearing at your pages.

But what about the rule of creating a different account? Is it not applicable for availing infolinks ads?
In the sense, will I also be able to receive credits from TEC, even if I use my Infolinks account?

A separate account is needed only when you are going for affiliate links. Such articles won't get cash credits. Please go through the announcement for more details:
