However, before you start out on your own, if you have never done such a venture before, I suggest you first understand how content should be posted and presented. Learn from sites like this one by browsing through the various articles & seeing how they are written. Check out articles on SEO and those related to blogs.
You could start a small blog at blogger.com (it is free) and use it as a practice platform, simply putting in content and experimenting with the various tools and gadgets. Do not try to monetize it in any way with ad units. Just use it as a learning platform till you get the gist of it. Regularly add blog posts to it, which would help to build up content. Make sure it is original content and not plagiarized. Blogging is a great self-learning tool and I have greatly benefited from it myself.

you can earn money on internet by two ways, one is by writing unique demanding topic with less competition. Other one by applying some techniques of SEO. Start blogging only when you have deep knowledge about that subject otherwise your article will be re written by other famous website.
