Points from Forum is usefull or useless ?

Today I used Forum section alot for some query and for getting some suggestions, for each question I got up-to 5 points to each. Is these points are useful or useless?
If useful so for what it is?
If useless so why I got points?
Does these points can be consider in case of MOW award?

This site do consider the quality of the content and overall value added by the members to the respective sections. Higher quality content will be given some weightage. So, the members who earn the highest points may not be the winners always.

Thus, make sure that you added valuable content wherever you posted. Just posting like "Congratulation for the Winners / Runners" or some general information post will not give any benefit except 1 or 2 points.

The content posted in Forum section is only awarded with points not with cash. But the points awarded in Forum section are also very useful to the users as it helps the users to increase their levels, It helps the users to win MOW and it also helps the users to win Member of the month. Hence it is useful to post content in Forum section.

Forum section is an important section of Techulator . I always used this section. Your content in forum section helps to increase your possibility to win Super Contributor Awards in forum section.
