Special problem then any other runtime error 216. A realy wierd problem!

    Hello guys

    I have this problem...

I bought a windows 8 computer cause my old computer (xp) is crap ( fcours..)
but i am a producer so i needed my FL studio (producer program) on my new computer. So i bought a 32gb USB for the backup. When i wanna open my Fl studio on windows 8 it has the runtime error 216. Now everybody says that this is an virus and that is possible ofcours cause i have a xp that is pretty crappy but i run the files with MCafee and Norton but they didn't find anything. So i thought hmm maybe its another problem. Then i thought that the problem whas that my Flstudio (32bit) whas running on programfilles on windows 8 (64bit) Then i moved the Fl studio in program files (x86) what is for 32 bit software but that didnn't helpt at all. So then i found something that someone said that the file ( or program) is missing .dll files ( the virus can remove those files) so i checked everything and there were no missing .dll files. The program works on my windows xp but not on windows 8 but it can't be a sofware problem ( it doesnt matter if its on xp or windows 8) and its not a virus or a missing .dll file i mean WTF guys please help!

    Ankit thanks for your reply.

The thing is, it isnt a virus. The program runs on my windows xp no problem at all but when i open it on windows 8 it has the 216 error. So if...the program is infected then why does it works on my xp and why can't my virusscanner find it? I mean this situation doesn't make sence at al!
